How do you secure data in Azure Storage?

We implement encryption at rest and in transit, configure access control with shared access signatures and RBAC, set up network rules to restrict access, enable soft delete for recovery, and monitor access logs for suspicious activity.

What is geo-redundancy and do I need it?

Geo-redundancy replicates your data to a secondary Azure region for disaster recovery. We recommend it for business-critical data to ensure availability even if an entire Azure region experiences an outage. We help you choose the right redundancy level based on your RPO requirements.

How do lifecycle policies reduce storage costs?

Lifecycle policies automatically move data between storage tiers (hot, cool, archive) based on age or access patterns. For example, data not accessed for 30 days moves to cool storage at lower cost, and data older than 90 days moves to archive. We configure these policies to optimise your storage spend.

How much does Managed Azure Storage cost?
