    Managed AI and Automation

Managed AI Automation is a fully managed service that deploys and maintains AI-powered workflows inside your Microsoft 365 environment — Mycelium 365 builds, monitors, and optimises AI automations for organisations so you get the productivity gains without needing an in-house AI team.

Security by Design. People First. Always.

    Why AI projects stall

You know AI can improve productivity. The harder question is where to start.

The value comes from picking the right processes first — and governing them properly.

No clear use cases — plenty of interest, no agreed starting point
Manual processes — work that is repeated daily and never automated
Disconnected automation — scripts and flows nobody owns
Security concerns — uncertainty about what data AI can reach
Governance uncertainty — no policy for approved use
Unclear return — no measurement of what improved

    What success looks like

Less repetitive work. Faster processes. Governed AI. Measurable productivity.

    • A prioritised list of practical use cases
    • Automations delivered against real processes
    • Clear AI usage policy and guardrails
    • Data access understood and controlled
    • Measured time and cost savings
    • Continuous improvement, not one-off pilots

    The plan

    How we deliver useful AI

    1. 1

      Find

We identify the processes where AI and automation pay off.

    2. 2

      Build

We deliver working automations and Copilot use cases.

    3. 3

      Govern

We put policy, access controls and oversight in place.

    4. 4

      Improve

We measure results and expand what works.

In 2026, as 58% of organisations now use AI tools like Microsoft Copilot, Mycelium 365 helps SMBs deploy, secure, and govern Microsoft AI tools within their existing Microsoft 365 environment — keeping sensitive business data inside the Australian Microsoft tenant and compliant with the Privacy Act 1988.

Ongoing support and management for deployed AI-enabled workflows, business process automation, RPA, Power Platform solutions and automation governance — keeping them reliable, secure and aligned to the way your people work.

According to McKinsey's 2024 State of AI report, organisations that have deployed AI automation in at least one business function report an average productivity improvement of 20–30% in the processes automated — with the highest gains in document processing, reporting, and customer communication workflows. Operate and improve

What we manage day to day

A practical, security-led approach to keeping deployed automations and AI-enabled workflows running reliably for your people.

    Monitor and maintain

Ongoing monitoring of deployed automations, workflow health, run history, error rates and performance trends across Power Platform, Power Automate and connected services.

    Exception and incident handling

Triage failed runs, investigate root causes, coordinate remediation with process owners and re-run impacted workflows so business operations stay reliable.

    Governance and access

Maintain environment policies, connector controls, data loss prevention rules, permissions and admin roles so automations stay secure and aligned to your governance model.

    Change and continuous improvement

Manage change requests, version updates to workflow logic and small enhancements so automations keep pace with how your people actually work.

    User and process owner support

Help end users and business process owners with day-to-day questions, training reinforcement and clear escalation paths for AI-enabled processes.

    Reporting and reviews

Regular reporting on automation health, reliability, exceptions, savings and opportunities for continuous improvement reviewed in service governance sessions.

    Practical examples

    What we automate

Real automations Mycelium 365 builds, runs and optimises for SMBs inside Microsoft 365, Power Platform and Azure AI.

Microsoft's 2024 Work Trend Index found that employees who use AI tools for repetitive tasks save an average of 1.2 hours per day — equivalent to recovering more than 250 working hours per employee per year. (Source: Microsoft Work Trend Index 2024)

    Document processing with Azure AI

Automated extraction, classification and routing of invoices, contracts and forms using Azure AI Document Intelligence — reducing manual data entry for finance, legal and operations teams.

    Helpdesk ticket triage with Copilot

Microsoft 365 Copilot and Power Automate flows that categorise, prioritise and route incoming support tickets, draft first responses and surface relevant knowledge articles to your service desk.

Automated reporting from Microsoft 365 data

Scheduled reports built from SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics and Dataverse — delivered to leadership inboxes or Teams channels without anyone exporting spreadsheets.

    Workflow automation with Power Automate

Approvals, onboarding and offboarding, leave requests, purchase orders and cross-system handoffs automated end-to-end inside your Microsoft 365 tenant.

    Email classification and routing

AI-assisted classification of shared mailboxes — sales enquiries, support requests, accounts queries — routed to the right team or ticketing system automatically.

    Copilot, done properly

    Microsoft Copilot management

Mycelium 365 manages Microsoft 365 Copilot end-to-end for organisations — deployment and tenant readiness, licensing and assignment, governance and sensitivity-label policies, and structured adoption support. We run Copilot as a managed service so it produces measurable productivity gains rather than ad-hoc experiments.

Copilot inherits whatever permissions and data hygiene already exist in your tenant. Without expert configuration — sensitivity labels, SharePoint permissions clean-up, data loss prevention and prompt governance — it will happily surface stale, oversharing or sensitive content to the wrong people. Getting it useful instead of chaotic is a Microsoft 365 governance problem, not a prompt engineering one.

Our team configures Copilot against the same Security by Design baseline we use for Microsoft 365 and Entra — least privilege, conditional access, sensitivity labels and audit logging — and supports your people with role-based training and ongoing adoption reporting.
