SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network) manages traffic intelligently across multiple internet connections — routing Microsoft 365 and Teams Voice traffic over the highest-quality available path, automatically failing over to a secondary connection (4G/5G or secondary NBN) if the primary fails. SD-WAN is suited to: businesses with 2 or more sites that need consistent connectivity between them; businesses running Teams Voice where call quality is business-critical; and businesses where an internet outage means staff cannot work.
